Education is a lifelong journey—one that does not end with a diploma or a degree. Even within the bustling world of corporate life, the process of learning continues, evolving through experience, awareness, and empowerment. Recognizing this truth, the Department of Labor and Employment – Quezon Provincial Office (DOLE-QPO) brought knowledge closer to the workforce through the Labor and Employment Education Services (LEES) held at Toyota Lucena City, Inc. on October 20, 2025. The initiative sought to strengthen workers’ understanding of their rights, welfare, and safety through interactive and meaningful discussions.

DOLE-QPO representatives Mr. Franz Raymond Aquino and Ms. Jelly Ann M. Avila led the session, imparting valuable insights on General Labor Standards, Occupational Safety and Health Standards, and the Family Welfare Program—topics vital to ensuring that every worker not only earns a living but does so with dignity, safety, and awareness. Reinforcing the convergence of social protection services, PhilHealth representatives Ms. Ria Samonte and Ms. Shiela Daleon shared informative discussions on the YAKAP Program, emphasizing the importance of accessible healthcare and responsive social safety nets for employees and their families.

In his message, Mr. Franz Raymond Aquino underscored the agency’s advocacy, stating, “Through initiatives like this, DOLE Quezon continues to strengthen the culture of compliance, safety, and welfare in every workplace—turning awareness into action and action into advocacy.” His words reflected DOLE Quezon’s steadfast commitment to bridging education and empowerment, one company at a time.

As the session concluded, the spirit of continuous learning resonated among the participants—proof that education, when nurtured in the workplace, transcends books and classrooms. For in every conversation that sparks understanding, and in every worker who learns to protect their rights, the lesson remains timeless: education never ends—it simply evolves with every day we choose to grow.

Pinangunahan nina G. Franz Raymond Aquino at Bb.
