Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP)

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP) is a set of rules and a mandatory program for all construction projects to ensure the safety and health of workers and the public. It is based on DOLE Department Order No. 13, series of 1998, and requires a CSHP to be prepared by the construction-in-charge before project execution. The program includes requirements like establishing a safety committee, providing personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting regular safety meetings, and having first-aid facilities.
