Batas Kasambahay

The Batas Kasambahay, or Republic Act No. 10361 (Domestic Workers Act), is a 2013 Philippine law that protects the rights and welfare of domestic workers such as househelpers, yayas, cooks, gardeners, and drivers. It recognizes their vital role in society and ensures they are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, whether they work full-time or part-time, and whether they live in or outside their employer’s home.
